Primarily designed for our Yukon line of spotting scopes this patented tripod can be used with all optical devices or cameras.In keeping with the commitment of offering our customers new and innovative products we have designed and patented a universal tripod/window mounting system. Now we offer this system in an advanced telescopic version of the original tripod designed to be expandable to 18 in height.By combining a tripod and window mount system with our new telescopic feature we have achieved a viewing comfort unparalleled by other regular tabletop tripods. To make this system more reliable we added a vertical lock feature along with the telescopic pole. This feature allows the scope to be elevated on the tripod to almost twice the height of other brand name tripods without sacrificing compactness.InstructionsYour Universal Tripod is designed for mounting optical devices and photo-video cameras weighing less than 4.5 lbs.The tripod comes in three styles:Table tripodCar Window MountUniversal Tripod that utilizes both parts.Operation1. Remove the tripod from the carrying case.2. Spread the tripods legs and set on firm support.3. To make a vertical adjustment: un-tighten the locking (7) by turning it clockwise. After selecting desired height secure the locking ring by turning it in the opposite direction.4. Attach the optical device by tightening mounting screw (1).5. To make side by side or up and down adjustments loosen the pan head lever (2) and turn device in the desired direction. 6. To set your tripod in vertical position tighten the pan head lever (2) by turning it clockwise.7. For switching between the tripod and the car window mount please remove the mounting unit (4) by loosening the pan head lever (2) and unscrewing the bolt (3).
