The WhisperLite II Semi-Electric Homecare Bed includes a Combination Foam/Innerspring Mattress and Full Rails. This bed is one of the lightest and quietest beds on the homecare market with a revolutionary motor and bed design to provide the best in quiet smooth operation. The bed is of complete welded steel frame construction and is designed with a patient weight capacity of 350 pounds. Included is a Combination Foam/Innerspring Mattress which has innersprings and a convoluted foam sleep surface. The mattress cover is soft and durable and is bacteria resistant flame retardant fluid resistant anti-fungal anti-static and non-allergenic. The head and foot sections can be raised and/or lowered simultaneously or independently with just one hand control. For additional safety full bed rails are included and the motor unit can lower both the head and foot sections with just a single 9 volt battery in case of a power failure. This bed was designed to meet the requirements of the applicable HCPCS codes.
