The Series 5000 Insulated filing cabinet will be the solution to protecting your vital documents. The legal file cabinets come in a variety of basic colors and feature variable-width hanging frames. But much more importantly they are constructed using the latest techniques in fire insulation - assuring protection from fires up to 1700 degrees. Each drawer is independently insulated from fire protecting closed drawers if a drawer is left open. The underwriter's laboratories (U. L.) test the product by heating it up to 1700 degrees (most fires reach 800 degrees) over the course of an hour then cooling it over several days. The interior temperature must remain at or below 125 degrees. This product meets or exceeds all tests for heat resistance.Shipping options:Residential- Delivery to a residential address with inside delivery to a ground floor location orelevator accessible location.
