The Schwab Series 5000 - Fire-Resistant - 1 Side Tab and 3-Drawer Lateral Filing Cabinet has been impact-tested at falls up to 30 feet and fire-tested at up to 1700 degrees. Itâ€™s constructed of fire-resistant materials and features a patented Insulate fire protection insulation. These strength factors make it perfectly suited for use in the healthcare industry or anywhere important documents need to be stored and protected for extended periods of time. One shelf with a fully retractable door that swings up and out of the way will store legal- and letter-size documents. Below that are two drawers independently secured that will also accommodate both sizes of files. All units feature recessed handles. L.) test the product by heating it up to 1700 degrees (most fires reach 800 degrees) over the course of an hour then cooling it over several days. The interior temperature must remain at or below 125 degrees. This product meets or exceeds all tests for heat impact and water resistance.
