The Rancilio Rocky Grinder is the perfect solution for home or light commercial grinding. Durable versatile and designed for ease of use and great results the Rocky is a dosing grinder which makes it ideal for use with an espresso machine; you can dose out just the right amount of coffee to make one or two shots of espresso. This grinder has a range of features and high quality elements that give you just the results you need from coarse to fine and does it with ease.Durable constructionThe Rocky is made from stainless steel with an aluminum frame. The 166-watt direct drive motor inside is extremely quiet yet powerful and operates at 1725 rpm. The motor has a high-temp overload switch that turns off automatically if something gets caught in the burrs preventing damage to the motor or burning of your beans. The professional-quality flat plate grinding burrs are 50mm in diameter. The bean hopper and ground coffee container are made from tinted plastic with seal-tight lids which keep your coffee fresh. Both containers hold up to 10.5 ounces apiece.Multiple optionsAdjust your grind from coarse to fine quickly and accurately. The Rocky has 55 separate grind settings which can be changed with the simple push of a lever and turn of the hopper. Grind everything from ultra-fine Turkish coffee to coarse French press; fine-tune your grind to just the size you want to get the perfect results.Dose out just the right amountThe Rocky is designed to dispense right into your container whether you're grinding into a bag or into an espresso machine portafilter. Two prongs on the front of the machine are the perfect size to hold the portafilter in place right beneath the doser. Simply remove the prongs if you need to grind into a different container like a coffee filter or bag. The Rocky can dispense approximately 7 grams of coffee with each pull of the handle.The Rocky may be the most versatile durable grinder available at this price point and its uses are practically endless.
