Pasquini Full-Automatic Espresso Machine

The Pasquini Livia 90A Full-Automatic Espresso Machine is perfect for coffee enthusiasts who love to know that they're getting a great shot every time they brew. This commercial-level machine is ideal for home or light restaurant use and features full automatic brew control. This means that you program in the amount of water you want to flow through the espresso during each brew and the machine will automatically measure out that same amount each time to give you consistently perfect results. This machine is made with high-quality features such as automatic water refill and continuous production plus two separate steam valves to control espresso and milk frothing. Froth and brew at the same time with zero recovery time between drinks. Lattes cappuccinos and delicious Italian-style espresso have never been easier. The Livia 90A comes complete with all the accessories you need to get started. Included are one portafilter handle a 1-cup filter basket a 2-cup filter basket a tamper (to level espresso into the portafilter) a measuring scoop and an instruction manual. Also included are two steam tips for the steam wand - a Teflon frother tip for those with minimal frothing experience and a commercial metal tip for those more with frothing expertise.Outstanding features of the Pasquini Livia 90A Full-Automatic Espresso MachinePowerful productionThis machine is designed to run just like the pro machines. Automatic water refill of the 1.3-liter copper boiler allows for continuous production while the powerful 41-watt pump and swivel steam wand let you brew espresso and steam milk at the same time - a feature not often found on home machines. No waiting for one to finish before you begin the other. No refilling the boiler halfway through your drink. Zero recovery time means you can continuously extract espresso shot after espresso shot with no waiting in between.Easy to useA three-way solenoid valve inside the Livia 90A relieves grouphead pressure instantly after brewing which means you can quickly and easily remove the filter handle as soon as the shot is done. The built-in expansion relief valve lets excess pump water pressure flow into the drip tray avoiding over-extraction of your espresso without any extra effort on your part. This machine can be left on all day and it has a computerized safety switch that will turn it off automatically when the water level is too low in the reservoir preventing damage. A high 1200-watt heating element gives you less than a 10-minute warm-up time when the machine is first started.High quality delicious resultsThe water reservoir of the Livia 90A features a filter that prevents particle contamination for better-tasting espresso. A true commercial heat exchanger pumps fresh water from the reservoir to the grouphead and filter holder. This means that water from the boiler isn't used to make your espresso resulting in a fresher taste and better results.Product highlightsRemovable 3.5-liter water reservoir for easy cleaning and fillingSeparate built-in hot-water arm for tea Americanos and hot chocolatesSwivel steam arm with independent steam valve and frothing aidBoiler gauge shows readout of boiler pressure to indicate when machine is ready for usePowder-coated framework for anti-rust protectionRemovable stainless steel drip tray and black ABS plastic tray for quick cleanupSleek polished stainless steel bodyElegant cup rack on top of unit keeps cups warm for serving hot drinksSpecificationsMeasures 11W x 15D x 12.5H inches; with lid opened measures 16.5H inches15-bar maximum pressurePower: 110 volts 60 Hz 1200 watts 15 ampsBoiler capacity: 1.3 litersWater tank capacity: 3.5 litersETL-listed for low-volume commercial or light restaurant use24-month manufacturer's defect limited warranty includedNote that the Livia 90A should not be used with distilled water. The pump forces the water through that resistance and the power it needs to do so is commonly measured in bar (= kg per square centimeter). A pressure rating is used on most pump-driven espresso machines. 9 bar the typical accepted pressure for brewing espresso is 8.8 atmospheres of pressure or 130 pounds per square inch. Good pumps should be able to create more pressure (power) than they need to produce perfect espresso so that they don't break when the right combination (fineness and consistency of grind tamping and amount of ground coffee) is not prevalent. A good pump has a capacity of creating 15 or more bars. To produce a lasting crema on top of your espresso the water should pass through the coffee at approximately 7 to 9 bars of pressure.About PasquiniThe Pasquini Espresso Co. is a family-owned and -operated enterprise located in Los Angeles.
