The Mado Shoji Room Divider is sure to become a focal point in your home. This gorgeous piece features a beautiful Edo period large-pane shoji design with two horizontal members in each panel frame to add strength. The panels are constructed of strong fiber-reinforced pressed-pulp rice paper with embedded straw-colored fibers to add texture and an earth tone. The shades allow light to come through but diffuse it gently.The Mado Shoji Room Divider features a durable yet lightweight Scandinavian spruce wood frame using Asian-style mortise and tenon joinery. The frame is finished in your choice of fine wood colors. Lacquered brass two-way hinges allow you to bend the panels in either direction.This divider is available in your choice of three four five or six panels depending on availability. Each panel measures approximately 72 inches high 0.75 inches thick and 17.5 inches wide. The three-panel screen measures 53 inches wide when flat or about 45 inches wide when panels are folded to stand upright.
