The Red Tailed Mustang was known as one of the world's most dependable escorts. The Tuskegee Airmen an all black outfit flew the AP51TAD in World War II. These remarkable men fought not only Nazi militarism but they also had to fight American prejudice being the only African American pilots of the era. Our artists carve kiln-dried mahogany and hand paint delicate details to create this famous aircraft model.
