The McDermott Tournament Series Gentry Pool Cue is designed for serious users. Both the forearm and sleeve are composed of exotic East Indian Rosewood. The wood's deep purple/brownish color is accented with darker streaks and interlocked grain. The cue has been fortified with five coats of high-luster urethane to increase scratch-resistance dramatically. Along with two German brass rings the design includes three Michigan maple and rosewood inlays in a windowpane pattern. McDermott's exclusive Impact Control Ring made from a Polymer Matrix Composite developed by NASA maximizes feel.
