With just a few touches of the control panel the Impressa F9 gets to work: grinding fresh beans tamping the grounds down and brewing your coffee through a high-pressure pump creating a consistently delicious coffeehouse-quality drink in less than 50 seconds! For specialty beverages like lattes and cappuccinos you can easily froth or steam milk with the unique Dual Frother Plus system. Plain language instructions and settings are displayed on the two-line multi-color LED display.Preprogrammed Buttons: To begin the brewing process touch one of the three cup symbols to indicate which drink you'd like: Big Cup Coffee or Espresso. Then touch one of the three bean symbols to choose your preferred brew strength: Mild Normal or Strong. Finally touch and hold the "st@rt" symbol until the Impressa F9 beings grinding. Two additional coffee buttons will make a single- or double-size cup of the drink you've chosen. All cup sizes are programmable from one to eight ounces - the double-cup button allows you to produce a maximum of 16 ounces of coffee at once - and the temperature setting offers two options: Normal and Hot.Professional-Quality Burr Grinder: Choose from six fineness settings for any type of coffee bean and the integrated stainless steel conical grinder will do the rest. The eight-ounce bean container allows you to grind up to 30 portions of coffee without refilling. For pre-ground coffee simply use the automatic pre-ground funnel system.Brewing Chamber: The brewing chamber automatically adjusts to hold between five and 16 grams of coffee perfectly tamping each freshly ground batch in seconds.
