Putnam Hitch Hawkeye 30K Fifth Wheel
This Fifth Wheel hitch is a universal fit for most trucks with 8 foot beds. Rated to handle up to 30000 pounds the Putnam Hawkeye 30K Fifth Wheel has a pivotal head which provides both front-to-rear and side-to-side tilting capability making hooking up and low speed maneuvering easier. The coupler unit is the same one found on all of the Putnam fifth wheels. It's revolutionary design provides both a bracelet style coupler and a traditional slide bar locking mechanism. This is one of the heaviest-duty fifth wheel hitches in the industry. Professional installation is recommended.Wiring kits are also available using the Year/Make/Model/Style table via the Electrical and Brake Control Tab.NOTE: The installer of this fifth wheel hitch must fabricate angle irons(mounting rails) to mount to the frame under the bed and then mount the fifth wheel to the angle irons. Drilling is also required.
