Spartacus was a gladiator of Thracian descent (modern day Bulgaria/Macedonia) and had been captured by the Romans while defending his country. The clothing and weaponry on these pieces are finely detailed and authentic in design. The pieces are crafted of durable marble resin a material that will retain its colors and quality for years to come. The king piece stands 3.25 inches tall and the base of each piece is 1W inch.The 15-inch chessboard is constructed of solid hardwood with 1.75L x 1.75W inch squares and it is available in your choice of oak or cherry.
