Plus PlayTEC™ is environmentally friendly as its crafted from 60% recycled sawdust from cabinet shops and 40% plastic. #1 Southern Yellow Pine is chosen for its superior strength and durability over redwood and cedar. Sugar Island does not use wood with arsenic in it for any of our residential play systems. Surfaces are sanded smooth stained with child-safe latex stain and finally sealed.
