The hand-applied multi-step finish replicates the look of natural aging and comes in a variety of patinas to complement your outdoor decor.Bird safety: This bird bath is 3.5 inches deep. The ideal bathing depth for birds is 1.5 to 2 inches. You can simply fill the bath with 1.5 to 2 inches of water or you can take the decorative approach and use polished stones or similar items to raise the water level while keeping the bird safe.Recommended care: Proper maintenance is recommended to protect this product from the freeze-thaw cycles that occur in winter. Do not leave the bird bath top outside in winter because once the top fills with water/snow and freezes the top may crack.
