Sol-X Gray This is a general-purpose lens tint that allows uniform absorption throughout the spectrum permitting colors to be seen exactly as they are with little contrast. The lens is photo chromic in glass and constant-density in polycarbonate with a subtle Silver Flash Mirror coating. Optimum performance is in medium-to-bright conditions. SOL-X polarized lenses haveHydrophobic coatings on lens front and back to shed water and make cleaning easier. Carefully calibrated layers of silver-flash mirror create an aesthetically pleasing appearance that dampens light transmission while an anti-reflective coating inside the lens eliminates bothersome sidelight reflections.
