Sol-X Gray The Sol-X Gray is a general-purpose lens tint that allows uniform absorbtion throughout the spectrum permitting colors to be seen exactly as they are with little contrast. Lenses are photochromic in glass and constant-density in polycarbonate with a subtle touch of silver flash mirror. SOL-X polarized lensesHydrophobic coatings on lens front and back shed water and make cleaning easier. Carefully calibrated layers of silver-flash mirror create an aesthetically pleasing appearance that dampens light transmission while an anti-reflective coating inside the lens eliminates bothersome sidelight reflections. Glide sunglass models with glass lenses utilize a Photochromic Xtra Thin (PXT) wafer technology that extends versatility in changing conditions and reduces lens weight while the polycarbonate model offers an extremely lightweight full-protection polarized lens in a contemporary and stylish frame.
